Saskatoon RV Rentals

Saskatoon RV Rentals - A popular method for travelers to explore an area where there are no motels or hotels easily accessible is in a recreational vehicle, which is commonly referred to as a motorhome. They are also convenient in that travelers do not need to pack and unpack each night. Moreover, they could stay in one place for as long as they want without spending an absurd amount on hotel accommodations. There are several classes of recreational vehicles available, and they are rated depending on their features and size. A class A R is the top of the line model.

There are many recreational vehicles on the market, ranging in various styles and sizes. The cheapest RVs tend to be ones that are not motorized and needs to be paired with another motor vehicle. These consist of campers that mount on the back of a truck, tent trailers, that pop into place, small trailers which can be towed by practically any type of vehicle, and large trailers which need a heavy-duty truck to tow them. The motorized recreational vehicles are divided into three categories: class C, class B and class A. Class B RV's are usually nothing more that a conversion van with just the essentials. Class C RV's, also known as mini-motorhomes, are normally fully self-contained and slightly larger. Class A RV's are the biggest units on the market and include all the necessities, along with several other amenities.

The length of a class A recreational vehicle ranges from 30 to 40 feet and the weight varies from between 15,000 and 30,000 pounds. It sits upon a specially made frame or a truck chassis, depending on the type. The unit can either look like a bus or have a boxy look to it, depending on the model. Custom colors and paint jobs are common to make it more aesthetically nice.

A Class A RV has several basic features like a kitchen area with a refrigerator and stove, a bathroom, and at least one bed. High-end models could have a separate bedroom, a living room, plush carpeting and a slide-out. Generally, the bathroom inside a class A motorhome is large enough to allow for a small tub. To compare, a class C bathroom has the toilet, sink, and handheld shower all sharing the same tiny space. To help make the interior of a class A recreational vehicle more aesthetically nice, leather furniture can be added, upscale lighting fixtures may be installed and custom cabinets may be added in the kitchen. This helps to justify the large price tag which is associated with a class A recreational vehicle. The price can often be up to $100,000 or even higher, depending on the model. Then again, to those individuals who consider their motorhome a home away from home, it is totally worth every penny.
